For the Grand Prix races of the F.C.I.
NEW RULES FOR THE GRAND PRIX AND MUNDIAL RANKING OF THE FEDERATION COLOMBOFILE INTERNATIONAL.

After the problems of transportation of the pigeons between the continents and countries of the FCI members The FCI has established next races and Rules:

Mundial Ranking-World Cup

Every participant pays € 10.—for the FCI and € 5.—for the prices which are:

1st Trophy and 50 % of the income
2nd Trophy and 30 % of the income
3rd Trophy and 20 % of the income
Medals till the 10th price.

Fanciers from all countries, members of the FCI are allowed to participate. It might be possible to breed the pigeons in other countries to be able to participate.

Registration fees

World Cups for the periode of 2007-2008

The winner will be the fancier who has won most points over the races that count for points in the period of 2007-2008.

The organisations decide for the price money.

When there will be cancelled some races in case of problems with the Influenza aviar, the champion will be the one who has the most points

4 races best result of 4 races
3 races best result of 3 races.


Prices

Every organisation has their own system for arranging the price money and price of inscription.

Rules for the Grand Prix races
  1. The races for the Continental and Intercontinental Cups will close when 20 % of the basketed pigeons in the final race arrived.

  2. When on the first day the race cannot be closed, the race will continue till the next day at noon (12 o'clock).

  3. When the prices are not yet taken by noon (12.00 o'clock) the next day, than the race will be extended till 18.00 o'clock after which the race will definitely be closed.

  4. When no pigeons arrive during race time the total prize money will be added to the prize money of the next Grand Prix race of the F.C.I

  5. When the arrived pigeons during race time are less than price money, the remaining money will be divided per percentage between the arrived pigeons

  6. When there is a neutralisation time, the race closes an hour after sun set and opens an hour before sun rise.

  7. The Ace pigeon closing time will be when the race is definitely closed. So if the race is for example closed the next day at 6.00pm. Than the Ace pigeon will also close at 6.00pm. And a trophy is to be allocated to the winner by the organisation. For the AS pigeon will count the last 2 training tosses and the last race. Winner is the one who has most points following the next point system. By assigning 500 points to the first pigeon of the 2 training tosses and 1000 points at the final race.

  8. When the weather is very bad, the F.C.I. delegate may either reduce the distance by not more than 50km or cancel the race till the next better day.
Auction of the pigeons
  1. The first 10 pigeons will be sold and the income of every sold pigeon will be divided by 50 % for the owner and 50 % for the organisation.

  2. All the other pigeons that arrive, will be auctioned for the organisation and from the income the F.C.I. will receive 10 %

  3. When someone sends pigeons to a Grand Prix race or any other derby, the organisation will be the owner of these pigeons.

  4. The fancier is obligated to send the PEDIGREE AND RINGCARD together with the pigeons.
Registration
  1. Registration must be 2 months before shipment of the pigeons. The organization needs to send a confirmation within 2 weeks. After that the participant needs to send the money within 15 days. When the organization receives the money, the registration is correct. It is possible to registrate immediately trough the organisation or trough the agents.

  2. Registration for participants of the organising countries is allowed from one and a half month before shipment of the pigeons. To give foreign participants more time to register.

  3. When for the pigeons the entry fee is not payed at least 1 week before the final race, the pigeons don't have the right to participate in this race.

  4. The registration and participation in any act of the Grand prix F.C.I. is only permitted to fanciers who are members of a federation who is in turn a member of the FCI.

  5. If for some error, abnormality or ignorance of the organisation, someone registers his pigeons for the FCI Grand Prix and he is not a member of an F.C.I. recognised National federation and his pigeon will be classified, he will be disqualified, and there is no refund. The money goes to the next winner.

  6. It is allowed to register the pigeons with the name of a team or with more than one fancier. But the registration has to be with all names and addresses of the participants.

  7. Together with the pigeons one need to send a pedigree with ring card. The pedigrees go to the organisation.
Classification for the Mundial Ranking
  1. You can win points in every race with the following system:

  2. There will be a classification every race by 20 % of the basketed pigeons, these pigeons will receive points in accordance with the velocity and the following system.

    1st pigeon always 1000 points
    2nd pigeon : speed x 1000
    ---------------------------------------- = result points of the second pigeon

    Speed of the 1st pigeon

    Example:
    1st pigeon 1,200 m/m 1000 points
    2nd pigeon 1,080 m/m 900 points

  3. Calculation will be till 2 decimal places.

  4. In every race the first pigeon of every participant or team will get points for the Mundial Ranking.

  5. Winner is the one who has the most points, not important how much prices. When the points of the winners are equal, the winner will be the fancier who has won the most prices over all the races. If they are still draw, than the winner will be the one who has the better classification in the last race of the Mundial Ranking.

  6. Every team or person can send maximum 20 pigeons, but they can send more than one team.
